SEO means "Search Engine Optimization", but what most people miss is the "Optimization" part.

What it looks like in real life: before you publish a new page, you want the ones ranking to go higher.

I call this process "Rank Enhancement".

It works like this:

If you’ve been publishing content for a while. you might be one step away from explosive growth.

I’m not kidding—I’ve seen it happen over and over.

The Secret? "Rank Enhancement."

Real Life Example from last year

The idea is to uncover growth by optimizing signals from your site.

Here’s the formula:

1. Audit your site from different angles to find your next big opportunity.
2. Build a framework tailored to your project.
3. Execute and watch the results roll in.

These are a few questions you can ask yourself when assessing a Rank Enhacement process:

Is your technical SEO good?

Is your site loading fast?

Is it 100% on performance according to Chrome's Lighthouse Fast?

What are your top 10 pages?

Are they getting enough internal links?

Did you build backlinks?

Are you lifting other keywords using these top 10 pages?

CTAs? Are you using those across the board? Are they customized to each page? Is there a presentation/solution angle you could use on different use cases?

What does your Google Search Console show? Are there keywords with many impressions but no clicks? Is your CTR good? What about your Meta Titles and Meta Descriptions? Could they be better?

Once you answer all these questions, you build your own framework to optimize under your hypothesis.

Example - Say you have 5 money pages ranking in the top 20-50 range

(you can do the same for AI mentions too, with the whole query fan out stuff)

You build a plan to "pull them" to the top 10:

• content overhaul
• internal links
• improve images to download faster
• etc.

Then, you build the framework for your team to operate.

It can be a simple Google Sheet with the process your knowledgeable SEO person could follow.

Once you get a methodology ready, you can either follow through or just delegate to someone else.
